WARRINGTON Wolves have confirmed this week that The Halliwell Jones Stadium capacity for Friday night's 'derby' clash with St Helens is 15,000.
The club's bosses had previously spoken of a 15,500 capacity with the addition of the new corners at the east end of the stadium this year.
Ground safety inspectors visited the stadium in the week leading up to the first game of the season and handed the club a certificate for 15,000.
It is understood the capacity will be constantly monitored and reviewed as the season wears on.
Friday's 'derby' is closing in on a sell-out and it will be an attendance record, with the previous jhigh of 14,206 set on the opening night against Wakefield Trinity Wildcats in 2004.
