JACK Johnson has taken a significant step on the road to recovery from a horrific injury.
The young outside back, 22, suffered a double leg break in a training session in March, ruling him out for the remainder of the 2018 campaign.
Johnson's season ended by horrific double leg break
Now, however, he has deemed to have recovered enough to walk without the need for a protective boot.
Watch the video below as the Wire man ditches the boot.
Finally out of the odour free space boot. Buzzing to be walking again without it, getting there slowly but surely! Thank you to all my taxi drivers that have helped out over the past 3 months. And my main career @AbbieWrench thanks for everything 😘😘 getting there now💪🏻 pic.twitter.com/Rb2oA0rOZ2
