A CONTRACT extension could be on the horizon for The Wire's in-form youngster Harvey Livett, head coach Steve Price says.
Livett scored a hat-trick of tries during Friday's 33-22 victory over Leeds Rhinos, taking his tally for the season to six
The 21-year-old started in the second row in Friday's win at Headingley but moved into the centres when Bryson Goodwin came off with a head injury.
Warrington-born Livett is out of contract at the end of 2018, but Price says he is keen to extend those terms.
"Harvey is an old-school, natural footballer. He loves getting his hands on the ball," he said.
"When Bryson went off he had to change a little bit, but he’s a player who just loves playing.
"Hopefully, we can sort his contract out very shortly. He wants to stay here at Warrington.
"He’s a local junior who loves the club, and I want to keep him here."
