WOOLSTON Rovers return to action on Saturday after the Easter break.

They will be looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season when they travel to face Dewsbury Moor Maroons in the Impact Performance National Conference League Division Two.

Rovers NCL head oach Billy Sheen said: “We have started the season really positively with four successive wins but we have by no means been at our best for a full eighty minutes.

"We have had periods in games where we have blow teams away to secure the wins, but we have them took our foot off the gas and allowed teams to finish the stronger and make the final score closer than what it should have been.

"We cannot afford to do that against Dewsbury Moor who will provide us with our sternest test to date.

"They have started the season in fine fashion with three wins and one defeat so we know that we need to control our discipline and be clinical when we have chances but also be ruthless in defence. It promises to be a cracker and we are looking forward to the challenge.

Rovers ‘A’ entertain Roose Pioneers in the NWML Division Two on Saturday afternoon, hoping to bounce back to winning ways after a couple of defeats.

Kick off is 2.30pm at Monk Sports Club, Hillock Lane, Woolston.

Rovers coach Liam Lawton said: “We have been disappointed with our last two performances and will be looking to get back to winning ways after a couple of weeks without a game.

"Roose come to us flying high at the top of the table so we will need to be at our best to get the victory.

"We have created plenty of chances in games but poor execution at vital times has cost us. Hopefully we should have a few bodies back to strengthen the side and allow us to put in a positive display.”

* Crosfields also return to action on Saturday away to Heworth in National Conference League Division One.
