MIKE Cooper looks set to miss The Wire’s trip to Wigan Warriors on Friday night after being handed a ban by the RFL’s Match Review Panel.
Cooper has been given a one-match penalty notice for a Grade B high tackle in Friday’s win over Huddersfield Giants.
The Warrington prop was sin-binned for the tackle on Adam O’Brien in the 15th minute at The Halliwell Jones Stadium and the Match Review Panel have deemed it worthy of further punishment.
Wigan too will be missing a player through suspension after second-rower Joe Greenwood was handed a one-match penalty notice for Grade A dangerous contact during their win over Wakefield on Thursday.
Wolves must win at the DW Stadium if they are to keep alive their hopes of a home semi-final.
