Not sure what game Ben Thaler was watching but seemed different rules for @wolvesrl than @DragonsOfficiel like Catalans only being 5 yards back when Wire had ball and were offside, they are allowed to move off the mark, pass forward etc. Not good enough from Wire though!

One of the best games of rugby I’ve seen for a long time that, well done @wolvesrl and @DragonsOfficiel great attack and defence from both teams and 100% effort, brilliant for the neutral!

Where’s Chris sandow when you need him @wolvesrl #SLWarCat

Fair result that.

The supporters want to watch a game of rugby officiated properly. That did not happen.

Thaler along with the rest of the refs must watch the games back and cringe at how bad their performances are. We didn't play well as a team last night but those clear decisions such as Gigot passing the ball intentionally at Roberts made the difference in 2 and 1 point.

Here’s me thinking that deliberately throwing the ball at the player in the ruck was deemed as “against the spirit of the game” and @TheRFL had told referees to clamp down on it. Obviously not. We were poor once again, but so was the refereeing as it is most weeks.

Warrington Wolves - Warrington Guardian Facebook page:
James Dudley: Half backs are shocking
Christine Shaw: Defence in the first half was shocking too
John Knox: We need a kicker... was great game for neutral but we need to put pressure on sides
Graham Smith: Another game reffed for SKY. by Thaler.
Mitch Lears: Sitas best game
Alan Drinkwater: Not playing at our best .missing Atkins. Could do with a good hard forward that can dish it out a bit when the fun starts
