THE reception class at St Joseph’s Primary School, Penketh, got a pizza the action on Wednesday when they visited Cafe Caruso to find out how a restaurant works and get a lesson in cooking pasta at the Italian Bank Street cafe.
The trip followed on from talking about Italian food in class with their teacher, Lucy Hannon.
She said: “It was a brilliant morning and everyone really enjoyed it. All the children made a pizza each for their lunch and then anything that wasn’t eaten has been taken home for mums and dads.”
