POLICE are asking for help to find a 66-year-old Woolston woman who is missing from home.
Lynda Dawes was last seen at her address in Woolston at around 11am yesterday, Thursday.
Police say Lynda’s family have had no contact with her since then and both her family and police are very concerned for her wellbeing. It is believed she is in the Warrington area, where she has friends and family.
Lynda is white, 5ft 2ins and of slim build.
She has short brown hair with a sweeping fringe. She was last seen wearing a beige cardigan with a white T-shirt underneath, dark blue trousers, and usually carries a large, light brown handbag.
Insp Ian Whiley, leading the investigation, said: “We are appealing to members of the public to make contact with us if they know of Lynda’s whereabouts, or have seen anyone matching her description.
“We also appeal to Lynda herself – your family and ourselves are very concerned for you and we ask for you to please contact us.”
