POLICE and firefighters attended a car fire in Lymm this afternoon, Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Cherry Lane at around 3.35pm.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the car fire.
Police were also in attendance to support with traffic management.
Crews used a thermal imaging camera to monitor the vehicle for hot spots and identify areas to dampen down.
One fire engine from Stockton Heath attended.
