TWO women and a man charged with theft at a town centre have appeared in court.
Police were called to reports of shoplifting and assault at Go Outdoors on Wilson Patten Street at 3.40pm on Tuesday, April 2.
Property worth £1,665 was stolen.
Scott Hargreaves, 36, and Kerry Hargreaves, 45, both of Cotton Lane, Chester, and Tracy Bailey, 53, of Denbigh Court, Ellesmere Port, appeared at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, April 4.
Scott Hargreaves was sentenced to a one-year community order and a rehabilitation requirement for 45 days after pleading guilty to assault by beating and theft.
Kerry Hargreaves was given a one-year community order and rehabilitation requirement for 35 days after pleading guilty to theft.
Bailey admitted a charge of theft and was fined £200.
