IT is long gone, but still spoken about with huge affection today.
Do you remember the Hogie Wagon in Warrington?
It started out life in the Bank Street car park, then moved to the side of the Ritz, later the ABC cinema.
It was in Bank Street before time before moving to the cinema, which later became Mr Smith's.
After moving to the side of the Ritz for many years its owner retired and his son had a smaller wagon on Winwick Street car park opposite Central Station.
The wagon (which has been spelled both as Hogie and Hoagie down the years) also featured in popular culture.
Artist Eric Tucker painted a popular picture of the snackbar which served the likes of hot dogs, burgers and chips.
