A 58-YEAR-OLD man was tragically found dead on Thursday at an address in Birchwood.
Cheshire Police have confirmed that the 58-year-old was found dead following welfare concerns for the man, with officers being called to the address.
A local resident reported spotting crime scene investigators attend the scene, as well as Cheshire Police officers.
Cheshire Police were contacted regarding the welfare concerns shortly after 3.30pm on Thursday, February 15.
When officers attended the scene, a 58-year-old man was found dead at the address.
Police are not considering the death to be suspicious.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: “Shortly after 3.30pm on Thursday 15 February, police were called to concerns for the welfare of a man at an address in Redshank Lane, Birchwood.
“Officers attended and sadly a 58-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. There are no suspicious circumstances.”
