A MAN has sadly died after suffering a medical episode by the roadside.
An emergency service presence was reported in the Winwick Quay area at around rush hour yesterday afternoon, Monday.
Police officers and paramedics from North West Ambulance Service were in attendance at the scene to treat the 53-year-old, who is believed to have been on a bicycle.
