Fire crews called to car fire on M62
FIRE crews were called to a car fire on the M62 yesterday afternoon, Saturday.
Shortly after 1pm, firefighters from Warrington and Lymm were called to the eastbound carriageway at junction 11 for Birchwood.
They discovered a car on fire.
The crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel to put out the fire and damp down the vehicle.
