FIREFIGHTERS attended a van fire in higher Walton early hours this morning, Friday.
At around 5:30am, the fire crew were called to reports of a vehicle fire on Chester Road, Walton.
One crew from Warrington attended the scene and on arrival they found a fire in the back of a Luton box van.
A firefighter wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.
The crew were at the scene for around 40 minutes.
