FIRE crews tackled a large trailer fire last night, Thursday, which left the M6 partially closed for more than six hours.
A trailer was engulfed in flames on the M6 southbound between junction 20 and 19.
Both carriageways were temporarily closed while crews from Lymm, Warrington, Powey Lane and Birchwood put out the fire with hose reels.
The motorway was fully running by 4am this morning, Friday.
