THE Student Council at St Lewis' Catholic Primary School are helping make Christmas a happy time for children around the world.
They have taken part in Samaritan's Purse's Operation Christmas Child which delivers shoeboxes filled with gifts to children in need.
Pupils at the school in Croft wanted to take part in the annual project and after an appeal at assembly to the whole school, they were delighted with the result from the St Lewis’ community.
Shoeboxes have been filled with a selection of toys, hygiene items and school supplies which will now be transported to more than 100 countries in time for Christmas.
