A GROTTO is opening in Padgate where children can meet Santa and help raise money for the town's homeless shelter.
Dave Collins and Leonie White are helping to spread Christmas cheer this year by providing a family attraction for charity.
Santa and his Elves will be at John Oates Garage on Marsh House Lane.
The grotto officially opens on Sunday, December 1 and will run each Sunday in the run up to Christmas between 12pm and 5pm.
A £5 donation per child gives them the chance to meet Santa and receive a small gift.
All proceeds will go to Room at the Inn and The Y Project.
