THROUGHOUT this year we will be dipping into the wedding albums of Warrington couples who have tied the knot and finding out more about the happiest day of their life.

NAMES: Peter and Jennifer Capper-Dawson

AGES: Peter is 33 and Jennifer is 32

LIVES: Orford

Where did you meet? Online in November 2017

What did you think when you first met?

Jennifer: "I thought Peter was sweet, very friendly and down to earth. He made me feel comfortable around him."

Peter: "Quiet, shy, down-to-earth and cute."

How did you get engaged?

Peter proposed to me in the Plough, Orford Green.

He arranged for 'the two' of us to go for a meal but when I got there all my family was there and my son Kai, now aged five, was wearing a T-shirt that said "Mummy will you marry Peter".

As I turned around he was down on one knee.

Warrington Guardian:

The wedding:

Our wedding on September 14t at the Halliwell Jones stadium was one of the best but hardest days of our lives.

My dad wasn't there and it was all still very raw.

When your dad has been involved in planning the day but is then snatched away from you so unexpectedly it leaves a massive hole in your heart.

But we did it and it was as perfect as it could be.

Planning a wedding is hard and you want everything to be perfect.

You worry about every little detail but when you lose your father unexpectedly three weeks before you're due to get married, it just puts everything into perspective and makes you realise that none of it really matter as long as you're happy.

I would like to thank everyone for all their support and understanding in moving the date.

Warrington Guardian:

What are your favourite memories of the day?

Jennifer: Getting ready in the morning with all my bridesmaid and mum and of course seeing my best friend waiting for me at the altar

Peter: Travelling to my wedding in an Aston Martin.

The honeymoon:

We went to Turkey on September 16

Our relationship:

We just clicked from the first day we met each other, everything was perfect and we have been inseparable since.

We both have children from past relationships (Amelia, aged 12 and Darren, aged eight who unfortunately couldn't be at the wedding due to the date change).

We are just the perfect family, something we both wanted for a long time.
