THE M62 in Warrington has re-opened following an overnight lorry fire.
The incident took place between junction 8 at Gemini and junction 7 for St Helens and the road was closed while crews tackled the blaze.
All lanes on the M62 westbound are now open.

The fire has been completely put out and the lorry has been removed.
At around 10.20am cones were lifted following a clean-up of the road surface and traffic was released by 10.35am.
Diversions were originally put in place around Bold Heath and traffic remains heavy in the area.
Traffic was reported crawling on Sankey Way and on roads around Great Sankey heading towards Warrington and St Helens.

Heavy traffic was also being reported in the south of the town through Stockton Heath.
