FORMER Warrington Wolves centre Matt King will pull on the famous primrose and blue shirt once more when he lines up for the club’s disability rugby team later this month.
King, who made 106 appearances and scored 66 tries during his four-year spell with the Wire, will join up as an able-bodied player for the physical disability rugby league team when they travel down under.
The PDRL team will be participating in the inaugural World Club Challenge match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at the 83,000-capacity ANZ Stadium on Thursday, August 30.
Former Australia test centre King will join the Last Leg host Adam Hills, who is expected to line up Wolves against his boyhood club, in the squad - with the game being played as a curtain raiser to Souths' NRL clash with Wests Tigers.
At current, the PDRL team are just short of their £50,000 target to fund the trip.
