FIREFIGHTERS were called to reports of car being on fire in Latchford this morning, Wednesday.
Crews from Warrington and Stockton Heath attended Clearwater Quays at around 2.30am where they discovered a car well alight up against an apartment block.

One firefighter wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
The team then carried out a thorough investigation of the apartment block using a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
Three of the flats were affected by smoke with an adjacent bin storage building also affected.
Firefighters conducted an internal check of the bin storage building to make sure that is was safe.
