CHALLENGE Cup semi-final fever is sweeping Warrington Wolves fans with tickets sales for the August clash with Leeds Rhinos already beating those of the club's past three appearances in the showpiece occasion.
The Wire take on Leeds at Bolton's Macron Stadium on Sunday, August 5.
It is the second game of a double-header which also sees Saints take on Catalans Dragons earlier in the day.
As of close of business yesterday, Wednesday, Wolves had sold 5,876 tickets for the clash.

That beats the 5,400 sold for the win over Wakefield at Leigh in 2016, 4,248 sold for the defeat to Hull KR at Leeds in 2015 and the 5,860 who saw the loss to Leeds at St Helens in 2014.
And club bosses are hoping the final total for sales will top 7,500.
Fans have snapped up all the tickets available in the lower tier, with more tickets behind the goal now on general sale.
Club chief executive Karl Fitzpatrick says he is delighted with the response of fans so far.
He added: "We have already surpassed the total sales from the past three semi-finals.
"It would be great to sell out the end behind the sticks with Warrington Wolves supporters.
"The players and the coaches commented on the tremendous atmosphere in the quarter final and said what a difference it makes to the players.
"If we can get the same in the semi final and pack the end out, it will help us to get to Wembley."
