A SERIES of consultations on the future of the library service in Warrington is set to get under way next week.
LiveWire, which runs the libraries in the town, is hosting the events throughout September.
Earlier this years hours were cut at libraries across Warrington as bosses said usage had fallen.
Plans have already been announced to move Warrington Central Library into a base in the Golden Square Shopping Centre.
Sessions start on Monday at 6pm in Stockton Heath Library.
They continue at Penketh Library on Tuesday at 6pm, Culcheth on Wednesday at 7.30pm, Lymm at 7pm on Thursday, September 8 and Padgate at 10am on Saturday, September 10.
There will be meetings held at Orford Jubilee hub (September 12), Warrington Library (September 13), Burtonwood Library (September 14), Westbrook Library (September 15), Birchwood Library (September 19) and Woolston Library (September 20).
Sessions take place later in the month at St Margaret's Community Centre in Latchford (September 21), St Elphin's Community Centre (September 22), Bewsey Park Community Centre (September 26), Broomfields Leisure Centre (September 27), Great Sankey Leisure Centre (September 28), the Pyramid (September 29) and Walton Hall (October 4).
