THIEVES have targeted cars parked up in Great Sankey and Chapelford stealing valuables from inside the vehicles this week.
Cheshire Police have issued a warning to car owners following a spate of thefts overnight on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Police have so far received seven reports of stolen property.
A spokesman for the force has urged motorists to always double check that their vehicles are locked when left unattended and to never leave valuables on show.
Anyone with information has been urged to call DS Stuart Clay on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
