HISTORY was made earlier this week when jurors ruled that 96 football fans were unlawfully killed during the Hillsborough disaster 27 years ago.
The inquests took place in a court room which was constructed within one of the buildings at Birchwood Park specifically for the legal hearings.
But now the inquests have come to an end, the court room is set to be returned to its landlord.
A spokesman for the inquests said: "The Hillsborough Inquests Court was constructed solely for these inquests and the ground floor of this building was leased.
"We are in the process of decommissioning the court but cannot confirm when this area will be handed back to the landlord and lease terminated."
