The woman, from Liverpool, had her car seized
A 32-YEAR-OLD woman had her car seized after being found in possession of an item which police believed would be used in connection with a theft.
On November 1 at around 3.30pm an officer working in plain clothes in the town centre was able to identify and follow the suspect.
A search followed and the woman, who is from Liverpool, was found to be in possession of a foil lined sports bag – an item commonly used during retail thefts.
She was arrested for 'going equipped to steal' and her car was seized before she received a caution.
