One lane of Great Sankey street closed after manhole fire
A FIRE involving an electric manhole cover has closed a lane on Liverpool Road.
Firefighters are currently in attendance dealing with the incident in Great Sankey and a cordon has been put in place around the manhole.
One lane of Liverpool Road is currently closed outside the Sloop Inn Public House. Police and the electricity company are at the scene.
