WORK has continued this morning to demolish Mr Smith's with the building now completely unrecognisable.
Our photographer Dave Gillespie has been capturing the cranes at work as one of the town's most historic buildings is torn to the ground.
1. Work starts on the final corner
2. Demolition trucks rip into the side of the building
3. Crowds gathered to watch the demolition
4. Dust fills the air
5. And bricks tumble to the ground
6. There it goes
7. The wall comes tumbling down
8. The building is now barely recognisable as Mr Smith's
9. A sorry sight
10. A glimpse of how much damage the fire had caused
11. An exclusive shot from the demolition site
12. Mr Smith's is turned to rubble
13. Farewell to one of the town's most historic landmarks
Can't believe #mrsmiths has gone!! So many good memories in that place!!x #MrSmithsFire #under18snight #Warrington #warringtongirl
