CHESHIRE Police has identified five suspects believed to have sparked an evacuation at the Golden Square on Sunday after a 'smoke bomb' was let off in the public toilets.
Warrington Town Centre NPU had appealed for information to locate five males reported to be involved.
Police say one offender handed himself in, while others were identified by officers, or parents contacting the police.
As the males have been found by police, the CCTV image and earlier report have been removed.
Officers are now deciding what action to take. Police had condemned the incident, likely to have been a prank, as even more irresponsible, given the recent terror attacks in Paris.
The shopping centre was evacuated at 4pm, with some witnesses reporting panic as alarms went off.
On the Warrington Guardian Facebook page, staff who work at businesses in the Golden Square said the evacuation caused delays that meant public transport was missed to get home.
Others witnesses said they were concerned as they were shopping with children.
Golden Square boss Ian Cox said the evacuation was carried out calmly and safely.
