AUTHOR Curtis Jobling visited Penketh High School to put on a short story workshop and discussion for pupils.
The Bob the Builder creator was on hand to engage with year 7 pupils, as well as 45 year 6 pupils from partner primary schools including Old Hall, Chapelford Village and Bewsey Lodge.
Media technical co-ordinator for Penketh High, Roy Abbott, praised the event and said the budding relationship between Curtis and the school would continue.
"The kids got really into the workshop and enjoyed it," he said.
"We have done many things with Curtis and want to make these sort of events a regular thing as he used to come to this school."
