IT is one of Warrington’s flagship charity events, and the mixed weather did not prevent a decent turn out for Disability Awareness Day on Sunday.
The annual festival, hosted by Warrington Disability Partnership, attracted a good crowd to Walton Hall Gardens, although it was not quite as busy as in previous years.
Guests were entertained by a variety of live performances in the main tent, including Warrington Signing Choir.
An exhibition of more than 250 stalls featured many charities, such as Warrington Community Transport, Macintyre, Warrington Community Living, and Pathways.
Other attractions including the chance to play with ferrets, try scuba diving in a swimming pool, or shoot hoops in basketball.
And visitors could get their blood pressure checked with charity, the Stroke Association.
DAD claims to be the largest not-for-profit, volunteer-lead, disability exhibition in the world.
It is aimed at promoting a positive culture around disability, highlighting what can be achieved.
