POLICE say a woman was trapped in her car after it crashed into a show home on the Chapelford estate today, Thursday.
Fire crews are currently at the scene and have now managed to cut her free.
The extent of any injuries are not yet clear but it is understood she has just been taken to hospital as a precaution.
Police were called to reports a red Peugeot car had been involved in a collision with the empty house at 15.53pm on Moran Drive.
It had gone through the wall into the middle of the property - believed to be on sale for around £440,000.
Witnesses have described the car ploughing through a fence and across a grassed area before hitting the house.
The woman is the driver of the car, and it is believed no one else was involved, according to officers.
Police say the building is no longer secure. And they say the car may not be able to removed for some time for fears over the structural safety of the house.
The office at the show home, next to the roundabout close to Sainsburys, was closed.
The roundabout has been closed, with drivers advised to avoid the area.
Fire crews from Warrington, two engines, Stockton Heath and Widnes were called.
