PLAY equipment has been removed from Radley Common after a series of arson attacks left it severely damaged.
The Grasmere Avenue playground has been the subject of almost constant vandalism over the last few months with numerous arson attacks by vandals.
Warrington Borough Council has been forced to remove equipment due to safety concerns.
A spokesman for the council said: “The equipment was severely damaged by arson attacks and has had to be removed on safety grounds.
“Police have been informed and are currently investigating – if anybody has an information that could help catch the culprits they should inform the police.”
